Die HTA-Berichte aus den Jahren 1998 bis 2021 treffen als systematische Bewertungen wissenschaftlicher Informationen Aussagen zu Nutzen, Risiko, Kosten und Auswirkungen von Verfahren und Technologien mit Bezug auf die gesundheitliche Versorgung der Bevölkerung. Dazu untersuchen sie die Wirksamkeit, Sicherheit und Wirtschaftlichkeit sowie soziale, ethische, juristische und organisatorische Auswirkungen gesundheitlicher Interventionen.
2021 wurde die Erstellung von HTA-Berichten beendet und 2025 der Betrieb der DAHTA-Datenbank mit der Rechercheanwendung eingestellt.
