AMIce - Public Part - Module Batch Release
Database description
AMIce - Öffentlicher Teil (AMIce-Public Part) contains parts of the comprehensive medicinal product information system AMIce, managed and updated by the German drug regulatory authorities BfArM, BVL, and PEI.
The contents of the Medicinal Product Information System of PharmNet.Bund and AMIce-Öffentlicher Teil are identical. This database description applies for both databases.
Due to § 32 of the German Drug Act (Arzneimittelgesetz, AMG) every batch of seras, vaccines and allergens has to be tested before getting launched by the marketing authorization holder (MAH). The responsible national competent authority is the Paul-Ehrlich-Institut (PEI). Extracts of the results of those tests are included within this database.
