"Enabling the future of medicine" is the subtitle of the BfArM's impulse report, which was published in November 2023. The report offers impulses for the future of healthcare as website and PDF. Digitalisation in the healthcare sector, artificial intelligence in regulation and the highly dynamic field of medical devices are just some of the topics covered. BfArM President Karl Broich spoke with EMA Director Emer Cooke about the future of the network of regulatory authorities. The need for artificial intelligence to speed up authorisation procedures was the subject of a discussion with the Director General of the Swedish Medical Products Agency PhD Björn Eriksson.
