Inquiries from the public
The BfArM is not permitted to give individual medical advice or to make recommendations with regard to diagnosis or treatment. Too many factors have a bearing on such issues and they can therefore only be addressed appropriately in the personal contact between physician and patient.
Likewise, the BfArM is not permitted to give judicial advice in connection with legal cases.
Due to the amount of inquiries that reach us every day, delayed responses are not unusual.
In accordance with the Federal Freedom of Information Act (Informationsfreiheitsgesetz (IFG)) the public is granted access to official federal information provided certain prerequisites are fulfilled. Further information on the Federal Freedom of Information Act can be found on the homepage of the Federal Ministry of the Interior of the Federal Republic of Germany (BMI). Corresponding fees are regulated in the ordinance on fees payable under the Federal Freedom of Information Act (Informationsgebührenverordnung (IFGGebV)).
If you wish to apply for a job at the BfArM please do not use this contact form but send your application to the Human Resources Unit ("Personalreferat") by regular mail (at the address given above).
