The company Arcomed AG notified issued an information concerning the upgrade of Syramed µSP6000 syringe pumps with two parts which have to be mounted on the outside. If 50/60 ml syringes are fully extended and an occlusion occurs creating high pressures the pump may go into F03 error time-delayed instead of occlusion alarm. The manufacturer provides recommendations for a safe use of the pump.
