Corrective action and recall of Radiometer Medical for capillary adapters for ABL5 blood gas analyzers (all lots produced in 2005). Because of problems in dimensions and shape falsely high values of pO2 may occur because of air bubbles in the measuring chamber. Customers were informed about the problem and how to avoid it. The manufacturer will settle a recall when correct lots of the adaptor are available.
