The Philips Medical Systems has issued an information concerning a recall of the HeartStart MRx external monitor/defibrillator model M3535A/M3536A. Devices shipped from March 2008 through early June 2008 may contain defective internal memory cards that can cause amongst others repeated restarts approximately every 20 seconds.
