Unomedical Ltd. has issued a Field Safety Notice concerning a recall of the ECG electrodes Unilect 4831Q and 4841P. Due to degradation of normal performance with respect to its defibrillation recovery and in particular during a resuscitation after application of an electrical shock there is the risk of a further defibrillation of the patient, which may be unnecessary. The affected electrodes should not be used any more.
