Covidien has issued a Field Safety Notice concerning a recall of the BIS Bilateral EEG (electroencephalography) Sensors. The reference and left eye electrode circuit traces of several lot numbers from part number 186-0212 are reversed. This failure will result in the inaccurate calculation and presentation of processed EEG information.
