HeartSine Technologies Ltd. has issued a Field Safety Notice concerning corrective actions of Samaritan PAD SAM 300/300P public access defibrillators.
1. Devices manufactured between August 2004 and December 2010 may turn theirselves on and of repeatedly so that the battery will become completely depleted.
2. Devices containing early software versions distributed until end December 2010 may issue a low battery warning even though sufficient battery capacity remains.
