Philips Healthcare has issued a Field Safety Notice concerning a corrective action of the HeartStart MRx Monitor/Defibrillators M3535A and M3536A with Q-CPR Meter (Option B08) with serial numbers within the range US00100253 to US00571587. There is the risk that due to incorrect CPR instructions the clinician may follow the “Do not touch the patient” command on the Q-CPR Meter and not resume chest compressions in a timely manner. The affected devices will be corrected by a software upgrade.
