Tyco Healthcare has issued an information about a safety related change of the user manual of the Legendair ventilator. When the ventilator is being used for life-sustaining applications and a 230 Volt AC / 24 Volt DC power supply is not reliable, a back-up ventilation system or the Airox OPEN PACK external battery must be readily available.
