CooperVision Manufacturing Inc. is conducting a recall of several lots and adjustments sets of the contact lens AVAIRA Sphere. The recall was conducted due to residues (silicone oil) which can cause impairment of vision and in rare cases severe pain and eye injury requiring treatment.
