Philips Medizin Systeme GmbH has issued a Safety Notice concerning MX4000, MX4000 DUAL and MX6000 Dual CT scanners. An potential issue associated with “Timed Scan” application was found. When certain criteria are met, the systems do not wait for the programmed time interval and start X-ray after selection of the scan button. A software update is planned.
