Varian Medical Systems has issued a Field Safety Notice concerning a corrective action of the radiotherapy planning system Eclipse™. In the Client software versions with build numbers from 7.3.10 through 8.6.15 the dose distribution for a “Fit and Shield” plan is not cleared after changes are made to one or more multi-leaf collimator (MLC) segments.
