Siemens has issued a Field Safety Notice concerning the use of the 8V3c transducer on the ACUSON SC2000 ultrasound system. Certain conditions may lead to an exceeding of the output limit for the ISPTA.3 parameter of 720mW/cm2 by up to 15%. It is recommended not to use the 8V3c transducer until the software issue is fixed.
