Siemens has issued a Field Safety Notice concerning a potential synchronisation error on ACUSON S1000 ultrasound systems with Advanced SieClear spatial compounding feature. Under specific circumstances the images will not update to match the depth scale, which can cause measurement errors in 2D-mode. A software update is in process of releasing.
