The company Sunrise Medical Ltd. has issued an information to its customers about the recall of its Groove Power Wheelchairs with Quickie Enhanced Display. This is due to the potential for the enhanced display housing to rotate about its mount resulting in the wire harness coming out of the casing. Under these conditions, the harness may short circuit, spark and exhibit a flame. The recall applies to all Groove Power Wheelchairs with Quickie Enhanced Display manufactured and distributed between July 20, 2006 and March 11, 2007.
